Schedual
So....notice how I'm typing in a different colour and font? yes? cool, right?
No.
but anyways, my life has been absolutely awful this week!
this is what my schedual looks like for the week:
5:30 wake up
5:40 procrastinate
5:50 go back to sleep
6:00 alarm goes off again
6:45 actually get out of bed
6:50 OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO BE LATE RUSH TO GET READY!
7:00 leave for school
7:15 arrive at school
7:20 do homework from last night that is due this morning
7:40 SCHOOL!!
2:50 leave school
3:00 sit on a hot, smelly bus with hundreds of small children
4:30 leave the bus
4:35 walk up my stupid 1/4 mile driveway
4:50 snack on stupid healthy food that my family has decided to force me to choke down
5:00 prepare for band
5:15 leave for band
5:30 band (which i hate)
7:30 complain about how band should end right now
8:00 band actually ends
8:30 get home
8:45 shower
9:00 stare into the tv until my eyes feel as if they are burning out of my sockets
10:30 scramble to do homework
11:00 say screw it and get on computer
11:30 get yelled at for being on the computer too long
11:45 sneak back out to computer
12:00 decide it's really late and maybe i should actually go to bed
12:15 lay in bed
12:30 HYPER TIME!!!
1:00 bed time!
REPEAT
Sheep?
So, um I was just randomly typing in words on google images, and this came up....
So, now Kristen wants a sheep...God help me.....
So, here is a picture of an obese sheep....
And now, here are some more obese animals....
...I think this might be a chipmunk...
And this is most likely a cat....
Moral of the story? Who knows! :D

Mr. MUTTON CHOPS?!
"fjsdfjdffdjfe fghd" <----- Sooo, that was me trying to figure out how to write in introduction to this post. :(
Anyways, my latest obsession is: MUTTON CHOPS. There we were, just meandering in Computer apps, when Raven mentioned mutton chops... At first i was all like: Eew, isn't that those gross pieces of meat?" However, when I Googled it, i stumbled upon the greatest flipping hairstyle ever!!! Therefore, we all changed our screensavers to that beastly Civil War general with the intense Mutton Chops.

Typing Class
Okay, so Kristen and I took this typing class together. Needless to say, she types WAAAYYYY better than I do...but anyways, we were doing this assignment that basically sums up to this:
"Please type the following either 400 times, until your hands fall off, or until Jesus comes. Whichever comes first:
A s if go to hi be the fall off to this gone double you carrot poop death blood stabbing moon star megastar hjnk fk kg doh dog doigjrof dotjr fjds fkdnfgioe fienfoe fie fi fo fum fid foir gor gkrng fd.lkdjft sojst /ALDJRP;'SRTOLKYJH/RGSHSOJY'OHAJEFR;OITWASZ/P;I'UGB"
Soo....yeah! And, I completed this thing (it was waaayyyy longer!) and then I shut down and asked the teacher what to do next. The conversation went as follows:
Teacher: "Are you finished?"
Me: "Yes!"
Teacher: "Okay, save it and you can do whatever you want!"
Me: "We were supposed to save it?!"
Teacher: "Yes, Raven..."
Me: "..."
So then, I RE-DID THE WHOLE FREAKIN' ASSIGNMENT!!! And THEN, the computer SHUT DOWN! So, now I'm blogging....on a different computer....in the same room....and the teacher is giving me The Eye. For all of those who don't know what The Eye is well.......
The Eye (n,v,adj): A facial expression showing great distrust, hatred, mortification, dislike, bitterness, spitefulness, and evil.
So yeah! that's how my day has been... :D

Mr. Enthuisiastic
[ Howdy, Kids! Welcome to the "Socially Awkward Kristen Show!" where we tell you the latest ridiculous antic Kristen has gotten herself into, which makes society love her all the more!!!]So, it's like this: I have been recently informed that my friends and I are WAY too enthusiastic about silly things that the average person finds normal. At first, I gasped with the gusto of an irritated super ninja, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks: Perhaps they were right.... For instance, my friend,Katie, and I attended our first bluegrass festival --yes, bluegrass-- last night, and it totally rocked our socks off. The bad part: we weren't wearing any socks. As soon as the show began, Katie and I found ourselves in the midst of duelling banjos, violins, and a huge sea of old people. The night went something like this- me:YESSS, BLUEGRASSSSSS!!!!! Katie:*whoop! *whoop! The man in front of us probably adjusts his hearing-aid. The last band approaches the stage, and I start cheering like an intense soccer mom for the cello
Player. Katie continues my cheer and starts yelling for the mandolin player. We were-- pathetically enough-- in our element. So naturally, we hollered as two old bearded men do on at a hillbilly family gathering, (by the way, I apologize for my totally whacked up anologies; I guess that's ANOTHER I'm a bit too enthuisiastic about.) Anyways, we were the Most enthuisiastic people at the whole festival, let alone two of the freakishly few young people there; we even sang along to a few of the songs! Two things resulted from that night: 1. I realized that we indeed CAN be a bit too 'gun-ho' about simple things. And, 2. I really flipping love bluegrass....

Community confinement?
Okay, so I haven't blogged in a while (sorry!!), but this is what I have! :D
So, earlier this year, I blogged about Solitary Confinement and my addiction to Solitaire and how it's ruining my life, right? Well, now my grandma is addicted as well!!! I let her borrow my Ipod once, and she gets immediately addicted!!!! Now, every time I have my Ipod out, I get this:
Grandma: Hey, can I borrow that?
Me: Um, well I'm using it right now....maybe later?
Grandma: How about now?!
Me: DUDE! It's my Ipod!!! And I'm obviously using it!!!
Grandma: But I payed for it!
Me: But you gave it to me!
Grandma: I put you on this Earth!
Me: No, you out the person that put me on this Earth on this Earth!
Grandma: Still, without me, you wouldn't exist!
Me: So?! I don't see how this has anything to do with my Ipod!!
Grandma: This has everything to do with your Ipod!!
Me: How?!
Grandma: .......
Me: That's what I thought!
Grandma: GIVE IT TO MEEE!!!
Me: NOOOOO!!!!!
Grandma: Alright (sniffles) fine (sniffs) be that way (wipes a tear) to your own grandmother (sniffs again) who buys you stuff (starts sobbing)
Me: Oh fine!
Grandma : So you'll let me use it? (sniffs)
Me: I guess.
Grandma: WOO!!! Gimme gimme!!! *goes away all happy, playing Solitaire*
Me: ....
And that's what happens when you let your grandma play with your Ipod...lesson to be learned? Kids - don't mess with old people....

4 AND BLONDES
Hannah
I am the one who sticks out in our friend group. Do't get me wrong I am smart. I take honors classes and stuff, but sometimes I feel sooooo dumb when I am with my friends. They are some of my best friends! I am soooo extremely proud of them. This is not an angeer or jealousy or a pity party thing. I just think it is kind of funny. All my friends are in the gifted group and are sooo awesome. I on the other hand was denied from spice. Spice is a smart people club. Whatevs. Rachel and Katie are gonna be our Valevictorians and Raven is going to find out how people can live underwater without oxygen. Kristen is going to write the next novel that two generations from now will be reading in their english class. Adele is the next Sheryl Crow. Amy has gifts for art enough to beat Davinci in an art contest. Sierra is gonna find out the next big crime that will rock America. ( FIGHT CRIME SIERRA. CRIME IS BAD!) Lisa is gonna take the basketball world by storm! Marissa is going to tame wild wolves and make them into house pets while she makes TV shows that people get absolutely addicted to. These are my friends- I love them. They rock at everything they do and remind me that " If iether of them fallls down one can pick the other up..." (ecclesiasties 4:10).

Zombies
Finals: a one-way ticket for turning teenagers into zombies.
You have....
The Jocks: Over-stressed and over-worked by their coaches to keep up their GPA so they can keep playing. Zombies.
The Nerds: Studying all night. Zombies.
The "Bad Kids:" Zombified anyways. Zombies.
The Preps: SUPER excited about the testing; stayed up all night, talking to each other about how awesome it's gonna be. Zombies.
The Stoners: High as usual -- nothing changes there. Zombies.
The Nobodies: Antisocial anyways; finals just make them worse. Zombies.
The Whores: Trying to flirt with everyone in order to be able to cheat off of them...not really zombified, but after a while, they just start "going through the motions"...like zombies. Zombies.
The Video-Gamers: Stayed up all night, playing video games and didn't study AT ALL and didn't get enough sleep. Zombies.
The OCD Kids: Super freaked out about how the papers aren't stapled perfectly together. Zombies.
The Rednecks: Only worried that they might have to go to Night School and miss out on their Shop Classes. Zombies.
The Rich Kids: Worried that Daddy might not buy them the newest Ferrari if they don't make at least a C+. Zombies.
The Hippies: Upset because the tests have over 100 pages and it kills trees. Zombies.
The Hipsters: The standardized tests are too mainstream for them to care. Zombies.
The Procrastinators: Put studying off until the night before; didn't sleep at all due to stress. Zombies.
The Vains: Too worried about hair and makeup to even start to care about testing. Zombies.
The Teachers: The most stressed-out they've been all year because they forgot to teach a few things that they know will be on the tests and are too embarrassed about it to actually tell their students so they might have a chance to pass. Zombies.
So yeah, finals are rough. And everyone eventually turns into my favourite thing: Zombies.

4 and Happiness
I am reading this book called The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. It has helped all the women in the family. She points out that you must act how you wanna feel. It legitly works for me and a lot of people. (incorrect grammar).
And exercise... I thought at first eww no-one likes to exercise. I have come to LOVE endorphins. They are like natural drugs for your body - the kind of drug that is O.K to be addicted to. This is much unlike the other drugs! Unless you wind up on one of those creepy I Can't Stop shows when you are completely addicted to working out and cannot stop! SO YAY ENDORPHINS! Thank you for helping my body claim joy through its hormones. I am gonna call you Dorphy!
She was also speaking of how you need to lighten up and just let go. This is the hardest for me due to my O.C.D. Yes I really have O.C.D. Anyways my dad always says," Dare to be imperfect, Hannah." And my mom says, "Just be you." (I have awesome parents.) It is very important to let go.

I judge people for their bad grammar
I was on FaceBook the other day and I noticed a rather horrifying phenomena: most teenagers don't know the simple difference between YOUR and YOU'RE. So, to battle this, I have come up with an easy way to remember the difference.
YOU'RE eating a taco while YOUR dog is biting my leg. I don't know why YOU'RE eating YOUR taco instead of making YOUR dog stop biting me. I decide to kick YOUR dog, but YOU'RE getting angry at me. Now, YOU'RE arresting me for animal cruelty against YOUR dog. You return to eating YOUR taco, and I decide to sue you for everything YOU'RE worth. We both decide not to sue each other because YOUR dog is insane and YOU'RE trying to get help for him. Little do you know that I'm breaking into YOUR house while YOU'RE sleeping. YOU'RE snoring, so I put a pillow over YOUR face to make you stop. You then suffocate. Silly me.
Moral of the story? Don't use bad grammar. You could die.

Mr. Friend Zone
The friends zone-- we've all been there. You have a long term friend who happens to be the opposite gender, and cannot help but begin to have feelings for them. And quite frankly, i've discovered that it is an extremely awkward and Uncomfortable position to find oneself in. I mean-- how are you supposed to approach the matter anyway?! I mean-- you can't just walk up to your close guy-friend and simply proclaim that you have a huge crush on them, can you?!?!
I know I couldn't. Quite frankly, I would probably find myself in a worse position, considering that I am potentially the most awkward human being on the face of the Earth. In my case, things would probably pan out like this: Me: (runs up to guy with pale, clammy face)
Guy: Hey Kristen, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?
Me: (vomits excessively)
Annnnnd SCENE!!!
In other words, being in the Friend Zone sucks. And, once you actually confront the pink elephant in the room
--metaphorically I should hope-- I guess it could end in two ways: 1.He could admit that he likes you too, and could possibly become your boyfriend! :) 2. He could not like you, and then you end feeling like a piece of crap loser jerk face, who turned a great friendship into an awful battle of your own feelings.....SO, I'm guessing you can figure out which option MOST would PREFER.
My advice to you: I've discovered that it's super important to voice your feelings. If your friend zone crush does like you, then That's flippin' super!! But, otherwise, you may have to become a bit of a stronger person. If you care about them enough, and they care about you enough-- even as a friend-- the two of you may discover that your friendship is golden enough as is. Another thing I feel is important: if there IS awkwardness -which there probably will be- PLEASE talk it out!!! Communication is so important! If you don't, you may just find yourselves entangled in some sort of weird even-worse-than-friend-zone stage with each other!
To be completely honest, I kinda had to learn these lessons the hard way, as many others have. It does suck. I'm not going to lie, and say that everything's all peachy, when it's not. However, I'm glad I voiced my feelings in a way. I actually wish I could have done that sooner, rather than wait until I practically had to force myself.and, now that it's all said and done, I know that at least I womt spend the rest of my adolescence asking myself "what if."
I know that things happen for a reason, that people change with each year that passes; maybe sometimes people hide their feelings, misconstrue each other's intentions, and eventually grow apart. I still wish things could've ended up differently, but as the infamous Dr. Seuss once said: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!" what are some other tips you could give to people in the Friend Zone?? Let me know in the comments! God bless! :)

4 and Cliques
You know how in highschool there are cliques? Our clique is the I DONT KNOW clique. We don't exactly know where we are. There is the popular girls who actually in our school are very nice. Then there are the used to be pops. who have connections. The people that are really nice but not known. Then there is us. The totes awk sitch kids. Kinda are socially awkward but people like us- we are a little DIFFERENT! We are the futball fans in the midst of football fans. But we like who we are. A group of geeks that have a weird sence of humor ,are all in band, who sing really loud, and run with our hands over our heads. But we have fun doing it! Love you guys!

Solitary confinement
I. Have. Problems. And they're not normal problems like "my boyfriend broke up with me" or "I made my first B today in Math" or some stupid and easy to fix problem like that. No, I am addicted to solitare! Solitare: the game for the Forever Alone. But I'm not Forever Alone! I have friends! But, since my obsession with Solitare started, I have pushed my friends away to play this dastardly game and, in doing so, condemned myself to Solitary Codnfinement.
Even my grades have suffered. In English, we were given an assignment, and every answer that I gave was written in either red or black ink. And that's not even the worst...
I'm allergic to EVERYTHING, and lately have been sick and losing my voice. This presents a problem, seeing as I am a very loud, very obnoxious person. Everything I say is at full volume, and if I get excited, it gets even louder. So now, I can't say ANYTHING and I feel like I'm going to explode if I can't express myself in some way; so I've resorted whispering loudly and trying to speak sign language. I kind of look like a choking 5 year old...
I'm also super OCD, and I have a touching problem... I don't like touching and I hate being touched. It's weird, but I have to deal with it everyday. And it sucks.
And now, my biggest problem: I'm sitting here, blogging while I should be doing Biology...so with that, I bid everyone adeu.

Mr. Society
So, it has recently come to my attention more severely than usual that we live in a society in which a text is far more valuable than a spoken conversation;People believe that typing "lol" and "jk" at the end of a rude comment makes everything all better, and proves that all of their relationships are fine! It makes me completely sick that there are people-- fellow students walking in the very hallways that I walk in-- who face extreme bullying and abuse from others; it can be a serious challenge just for them to survive a single day. Whether it be for size, beliefs, or sexual orientation, I don't believe that anyone deserves to be discriminated against for those reasons! I wish that my generation could learn this simple concept, but everyday I witness my peers setting a poisoned example for others.
There must be some heart inside of them, but I find myself in a continuous struggle to see them. I know that I look to my faith, family , and friends constantly, but what about those who don't believe in God, have no family, and no friends. I pity them. I pray for them, and I pray for society. I do truly hope that humanity will see God, and learn that HE is the only key to true happiness! And, on that note, I bid you goodnight. :)

Mr. Dentist
The Dentist: the place where kids enter screaming and or crying, as their mothers attempt to unlatch their children's claws from the doorway; it is a swirling hurricane of gross, disgusting, and buzzing noises-- not to mention that every single dentist office I've EVER been in smells like a mixture of water and latex!!!! The dentist is a form of everyone's one personal form of torture!! ISN'T THAT COMFORTING?!!!
Okay-- I may have exaggerated a bit on that last point. I guess I'm just furious with the whole dental industry at the moment because my entire face is completely numb, and constantly twitching!!!!!
I am personally starting to believe that the dental hygienist enjoys testing how much
"numby- stuff" will fit in the serenge! C'mon people!!! You already gave me two shots, thoroughly enjoyed shoving cotton in my mouth, and NOW you must think it amusing to watch me flinch in the chair while injecting me with that gross tasting serum!!! I tried to drink water when I got home, and my mouth just dropped open effortlessly, leaving me drenched and angry, while my brother laughed at me relentlessly.
However, I have found a small glimpse of happiness through all the pain and suffering! Have you ever taken into consideration all the everyday tasks you could do while in the dentists chair that would make your dentist spazz out? Exhibit A: sneezing. I can't even fathom their expressions
If you just had like a sneeze and or cough seizure when their face is so close to yours!! Exhibit B: Mr. Dentist always enjoys having a complex conversation with you while his hands are shoved down you esophagus, so why not reply to all of these stupid questions. For instance, a typical question any stereotypical dentist would ask is: "So what are your plans for the summer?" instead of just sitting there while your dentist answers himself like he usually does, Answer him! It will most likely sound similar to that of a tortured and dying Humback whale!! Exhibit C:vomit. Just throw up in the chair in front of him and everybody. Do I even need to explain why this might make anyone feel a bit befuddled?
What are some other funny things that you think would distract your dentist?? Let me know! :)
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try to drink something again without being forced to change clothes!

Prince Muscles
We have this guy in our school who is really hot. We nicknamed him Prince Muscles...... Little did we know how awful that would backfire. It all started during Health.....
Hannah: Oh my gosh! That guy is soooooo hot!
Kristen: Which one?!
Hannah: Blue shirt, grey shorts.
Kristen: Oh! He is hot!
Me: Look at his muscles!!
Hannah: He looks like a prince.
Kristen: Prince Muscles!
A few months later....
Immature Friend: Hey look! It's Prince Muscles!!
Me: Don't say that so loud!
Hannah: Oh my gosh, he's looking at us!!
Kristen: Who?
Hannah: PRINCE MUSCLES!!
Prince Muscles' Friend: Hey! Why are you staring at us?!
Another Friend: Get lost you guys!
All of us: OH MY GOD!!!!!
We quickly made our way to our Safe Place: the locker room. We were so close. We only had five feet to go! But, as we were approaching the locker room, something unthinkable happened...
Immature Friend: Hey look! Prince Muscles again!!!!
Me: No!
Kristen: Immature Friend, you need to just be quiet!
Immature Friend: (at the top of her lungs, no less) HEY PRINCE MUSCLES!!!!!!!
All of us: NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, we ran into the locker room, and had a panic attack. Prince Muscles had not only seen us staring at him, but now knew our nickname for him!! It was awful! Our lives were over! We were screaming and (over-reacting) making a scene. We were rolling on the floor, making odd noises and freaking out, and then this chick poked her head and said (in a very low and tough voice indeed) "Shut up!"
Oh no! We had thought the locker room was sound proof! Our eyes widened as it sank in: all of the things we had said on that room. All the secrets told. All the weird spoofs and games we had masterminded in this very room had been witnessed by everyone in the gym. Our Safe Place had been compromised!

Pilot
Hi guys. Or girls.......whatever...
We're just....freaks. Who, by way of overreactions and velociraptor sounds, successfully embarrass ourselves in front of everyone. But if the "norm" is standing around gossiping about other people and being just plain boring, we certainly do not want to be a part of that! We're weird, but that's just the way we are! We wouldn't want to change for the world because WE HAVE FUN!!
So.....just enjoy our tangents and embarrassing stories!! :)
